I honestly don’t know if I’d call it a conspiracy theory, but I do believe we’re often distracted by the noise of the world so we don’t focus on what matters most. The enemy doesn’t always attack with chaos—sometimes he simply keeps us so busy, overwhelmed, entertained, and consumed by the next thing that we slowly drift away from the things that truly matter.
The more I grow in my faith, the more I realize that our greatest battle isn’t always what’s happening around us… it’s what quietly steals our attention, our peace, and our time with God. If the enemy can’t destroy us, he’ll often settle for distracting us. And sometimes, the most dangerous distractions don’t even look bad—they just keep us from the best.
So here’s my question… What is one distraction in your life that may be quietly pulling you away from the person God is calling you to become?
