A Note to My Readers

This blog was created from my own personal journey as a wife navigating marriage alongside PTSD, addiction, broken trust, healing, faith, and hope. I share my experiences openly because I know there are other wives quietly carrying many of the same questions, emotions, and struggles.

The thoughts shared here are my personal experiences, reflections, and understanding. While I may discuss topics related to mental health, PTSD, addiction, marriage, boundaries, counseling, and recovery, this blog is not intended to provide medical, mental health, legal, or professional counseling advice. Every marriage and situation is different, and I encourage you to seek guidance from qualified professionals when making decisions about your own circumstances.

My Christian faith is an important part of my story, so Scripture and biblical perspectives are woven throughout many of my posts. These reflections represent my personal faith and understanding as I continue learning, healing, and seeking God’s direction in my own life.

Most importantly, I want this to be a place where wives who have spent years saying “I’m fine” can finally admit when they aren’t.

You can love your husband and still acknowledge that you are hurting.

You can pray for restoration and still set boundaries.

You can have compassion for someone’s trauma and still recognize the impact their choices are having on you.

You can believe God is capable of changing your circumstances while also asking Him to change, strengthen, and guide you through them.

I don’t have all the answers. I’m simply sharing what I am learning along the way in hopes that another wife might read these words and realize she isn’t the only one carrying something no one else can see.

This is my story, not a prescription for yours. Take what encourages you, seek wisdom for what belongs to you, and above all, seek God’s direction for your own journey.
